Description
This was supposed to be my entry for Freeway's Art Bag Design Competition but I did not finish on time. I tried gouache for the first time on this artwork and I'm really liking the results, even if it's cheap gouache that I'm using. I love how bright the colors are.

My stupid computer won't let my write critiques. That being said...
This is really quality gouache work! In my opinion it is a little reminiscent of Hansel and Gretel, but with the ghosts of all the little children who died before them instead of the Witch. The spirits are so weird and almost goopy. It is a really nice effect, and you did a great job capturing what floating people look like. Sometimes when people attempt that it can look really stilted or like their just standing in midair, but you have managed that very well. Also, I love the simplicity of your color scheme!
I would be really interested to hear what inspiration prompted you to draw this, or what the drawing is supposed to be about!
